Horse Records Manager is a way to organize
horse records manually and with a computer. It is a binder of 17 forms and a
disk with an Excel file of the forms for keeping track of: feeding, shoeing
(see example below), vacinations, worming, cental, breeding, foaling,
illnesses/injuries, show results, horse shows, clients, inventory, expenses,
individual horse records, and pedigrees.
Horse Records Manager allows recording of horse records
manually and/or into Excel tables (spreadsheets). The forms have been designed
to make record keeping efficient. For example, check boxes are used to
alleviate the necessity for writing in cells not requiring specific
information.

The Excel spreadsheets
also allow sorting records by column. For example, to view how many horses
receive a specific feeding supplement, the table can be sorted by the
Supplement Type column.
Most of
the forms are designed for recording information on multiple horses. The last
two forms are designed for individual horses. All the forms except the
Pedigrees can be used for manual entry. The Pedigrees paper forms show the
layout and content to be entered in the Excel spreadsheet cells; they are thus
designed for computer entry. Computer requirement: Windows 98, Excel 2000.
Products for an earlier version of Excel can be supplied. |
